I'm in Sweden, two days ago me and my husband pitched our new tent in the backyard and made a little fire. I like photography and wanted to document the cozy mood. No tripod though. First pic is with flash, the rest without. But what is the stuff next to my husband??????? The background was totally dark. I ruled out the tree in the back, reflexions... could it be something in the camera lens or what is this stuff??? Please help. I'm not saying I believe it's a ghost. Would just like some kind of explanation.

You know I hate say it but that looks like smoke from the fire is reflecting the fires light back at you. Light on smoke at night can make some really cool images but i am afraid it is not paranormal At least i do not think so It does take courage to put a picture out there I wish more did

i have to agree with phoneix...i smoke.. and somtimes forget to extinguish all flames before snapping a photo... and it makes for weird pics...though usually you can see a distinct trail of where it originated from... which looking at that fire... it was really going pretty good...should of had a nice updraft to pull the smoke away... not, to say that it wasn't glare...anyhow, i still believe it could be residule smoke...glad u shared this!!! they are gr8 pics!
