I was a member of this site years ago, but had to go away for a while. (No, not prison. ) Anyway, I am happy to be back, and hope to continue adding to the threads and reading other's responses, thoughts, and opinions. As I recall, you were all a great group to talk to.

I hate to be the bringer of ill news for I fear Ghost Hounds may not be as you left it. The flag ship group in the Atlanta area has been disbanded. Monthly meetings have been called off for the last three months and there has not been any kind of an organized investigation since July or August of 2009. I know because I was there.
The group founder and leader no longer even lives in the state as of last report. In the year and four months I have known of this group Patrick has not been on one investigation with Ghost Hounds here in Georgia. I have met him, seemed like a really good guy, experienced, knowledgeable and simply at this point gone gone.
The only thing deader than this web site is what ever does in fact make EVPs. So, please do not kill the messenger and to the Hounds here in Georgia if I am wrong or inaccurate in some sort of way I apologize. I would be willing to put in what ever energy I can to make the group viable again.
Anyway Omicron any action up your way. My wife is from Pennsylvania _________________ I can feel the night beginning, separate me from the living.

That's really a shame, but I'll still check back now and then to see what's going on.
As far as action, I wouldn't know. I've been out of the loop for far too long. GH or no GH, I am going to pick it all back up again- hopefully right where I left off.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
Neither Ghost Hounds members, site subscribers, site moderators or founder and director Patrick Burns assume any liability for any bodily injury, loss of life, or loss / damage to personal or private property resulting either directly or indirectly from information found on this site.
Furthermore, we assume no liability for the actions of people that choose to trespass on private property. We strongly oppose anyone being on private property without the expressed consent of the property owner or its legally appointed agent.
